McAulay -- A gem from my childhood : The author died before I was born, so my long-lost copy of this book must have belonged to my brother or another family member before my grandmother read it to me, time and time again -- along with the Oz books, it was one of my absolute favorites. It's been over 60 years, but I vividly remember the stories of Coyote and Old-Man and the others, and I'm delighted that Linderman's version of these old tales is available again. He lets the characters speak, and tell the stories in their own voices. I look forward to sharing them with my own granddaughter. ( Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2012 )
